WORDS MATTER
Project description
A typography-driven project that gives new life to second-hand garments. Each piece is upcycled and printed with bold Georgian words: Tavisupali (Free), Tvitkmari (Self-sufficient), and Tavneba (Willful) - using eco-friendly water-based inks.
The process is simple but intentional: we seek out second-hand clothes, clean and prepare them, then reimagine them through powerful lettering. The result is a collection of t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, tote bags, pins, and posters that are more than consciously chosen fashion items - they are wearable manifestos.
WORDS MATTER.
WORDS ARE POWERFUL.
AND WORDS CAN BE WORN.

Words give meaning to our feelings, ideas, and beliefs. Words empower us. They give us courage and hope. Words bring out the power in us to speak our minds. Without words, solidarity is harder. Without words, there is less visibility. Without words, fighting is almost impossible. Words are reminders.
They remind us to keep fighting for freedom and justice. They remind us that we are brave, that we are courageous. Freedom is never given. It is claimed every day.
That’s why this collection is built around three words — the 3 T’s:
Tavisupali — Free - თავისუფალი
Tvitk'mari — Self-sufficient - თვითკმარი
Tavneba — Willful - თავნება
WORDS CAN LIVE ON OUR CLOTHES.
THEY CAN REMIND US EVERY DAY OF WHO WE ARE,
WHERE WE ARE, AND WHERE WE WANT TO GO.

This is not a fashion brand. This is a wearable manifesto - louder, bolder, truer.
The words are not just spoken - they are worn.
